I decided to try knitting again. I am trying to make a scarf. I have started, frogged and restarted twenty bazillion times. I'm really getting good at casting on....

I have the same issue with Knitting. I have started and stopped and started over about 50 times. Good luck to you. I'll stick with crochet for now.
