I completed my poncho. I used Red Heart color "Earth and Sky" and Chris Simon's Eternal Braid pattern. I'll try to get a picture of me wearing it.

I finally got my scarf going. Yes, it's narrow, but it's gonna be really long. I can cable!!!
The border looks black, but it's really a dark green.

This is an another afghan I'm working on. This is a "just because" project. I've been wanting to make an afghan in fall colors for a long time, so I finally started one. I can't wait to finish it. I think it's going to become my camping blanket.

This is the beginning of an afghan I am making for the bed in our guest room. This is part of the previously mentioned remodeling project. We will be painting that room in a couple of weeks and have a new daybed for it. I'll post a pic of the afghan and the room once they're done.
My job as Accounts Payable requires lots of data entry. I like to put my headphones on and listen to music while I enter invoices. This worked quite nicely until I knocked my MP3 player off my desk a couple of times. So I came up with this little carrier to wear around my neck. Nothing fancy, but it works.
This is a duffle bag a made. I used a tear off pattern from Michaels, but I adjusted it to be a few rows bigger. I also stitched a piece of round plastic canvas into the bottom. I just love the texture of this stitch pattern, I may have to make something else with it.. I thought about selling the bag, but I just couldn't part with it!
This was the very first afghan I ever made. I've had it boxed up, waiting for a baby to use it. I decided a while back to get it out and put it on the back of the rocking chair in my craft room. I thought I'd share a picture of it.
That baby should be coming in a couple of years. We've decided to go to China and adopt a little girl. Right now we are trying to finish up some remodeling on our house. As soon as that's done, we'll be contacting an agency!
My little witch doll. She is done in Red Heart's Sage Mary. I just loved the green and purple together. This was my other fair entry this year. I won a blue ribbon for her as well. In addition she placed Third for Best in Show! So I got two ribbons for her!! Pretty good for my second year in the fair!

I made two half squares (triangle) then did 2dc ch1 2dc shells along the straight egde of each triangle. I did slip stitches instead of shells in the middle (about 8 inches) of each edge for the neck line. Then wove white ribbon through the chain 1 spaces on both the front and back, working from the bottom up.
This was one of two entries in this year's County Fair. I got a Blue Ribbon for it!

A few weeks ago we got to go to Texas for a visit with my parents. My little brother, Steven and one of my older sister's, Tonya came to visit as well. It was so nice to visit with my sister since I hadn't seen her for a few years. I was showing her some of my pictures from our trip to Europe back in May. I took my seraphina with me, it was the perfect thing to have there. I could wear it around my waist if I wasn't cold or around my arms if I was. Tonya liked it and jokingly hinted she'd like one. Well, when we returned home I got to thinking and realized I'd never crocheted anything for her and she was the one who'd taught me how! So I made her one in her favorite color, purple of course. I've already mailed it to her, since I don't have the patience to wait til Christmas.
